Saint Seiya's Kurumada to Launch Manga With All His Heroes

The January issue of Akita Shoten's Champion RED magazine is announcing on Tuesday that Masami Kurumada is launching a new series that will feature "all of Kurumada's heroes." A preview for the tentatively titled Kurumada Suikoden manga will appear in the next Champion RED issue on December 19.

The manga is part of the magazine's 40th anniversary celebration of Kurumada's manga career. The same upcoming issue will also have a special interview with Kurumada, special chapters of Kurumada and Shiori Teshirogi's Saint Seiya: The Lost Canvas - Meiō Shinwa manga and Kurumada and Megumu Okada's Saint Seiya Episode.G manga, the latest chapter of Kurumada and Chimaki Kuori's Saint Seiya: Saintia Shō manga, and double-sided poster of "Kurumada All-Stars" (drawn by Teshirogi, Kuori, Okada, and Yun Kouga).

Infinite Stratos: first episode and lots of girls

 After seeing some releases, I decided to pick Infinite Stratos to watch.Unfortunately, this anime is already in season 02 and is currently airing,so i'm way behind until season 2.Therefore,I decided to post from the beginning of episode 1 in season 1.This a very good animation, a mix a of Harem,romance, and Mecha Action,but if you are looking something with a deep story,you probably and to look elsewhere.

A prestigious economics think-tank of the Japanese Government has published a study which concludes that online piracy of anime shows actually increases sales of DVDs. The conclusion stands in sharp contrast with the entertainment industry’s claims that ‘illicit’ downloading is leading to billions of dollars in losses worldwide. It also puts the increased anti-piracy efforts of the anime industry in doubt.

GTO: The Early Years Manga Gets Sequel With New Artist

The December issue of Akita Shoten's Monthly Shōnen Champion magazine is announcing on Wednesday that artist Shinsuke Takahashi (Duel Masters Rev.) will serialize a sequel manga to Tohru Fujisawa's GTO: The Early Years (Shonan Junai-gumi). The "true sequel," titled Shonan Seven, will be written by Fujisawa and premiere in the February issue on January 6.

Sentai Filmworks Adds Gainax's Nadia - The Secret of Blue Water TV

North American anime licensing company Sentai Filmworks announced on Saturday that it acquired Gainax's science-fiction adventure anime Nadia - The Secret of Blue Water. The 39-episode 1990-1991 series will be "available soon through select digital outlets with a home video release on bilingual DVD & BD to follow."

Figure: New Saber maid costume coming up

A new figure of Saber from Fate / Stay Night will be released,where she is dressed as maid costume,thanks to the new PS Vita game " Fate/ Stay Night Realta Nua" which have the illustration where this figure is based on.The manufacturer, PMOA will sell for 10.290 yen (about $103,ouch) and is going to be released for retail this month.I would buy one if it weren't too expensive.

Update: Highschool DxD

 

I picked Highschool DxD to watch this weekend and i enjoyed more than my expectations, at first i thought it would be very similar to Rosario Vampire animation, which was an animation only for fan service and therefore ruining the story-line , but the world created and the story behind it actually follows correctly and interested me, excluding obviously the many nude-ecchi scenes.

Anyway,i will start writing from the first episode, but Highschool DxD is already in the 10th episode (which released today) in the second season.

Recommendation: Seitokai Yakuindomo

 I know it's been a quite long time after my last post,and it was consequence of my short free time in the last few months.In July,i was on vacation and which extented the lack posts.After sorting and cleaning my house, a few days ago i watched a few episodes of Seitokai Yakuindomo,and i must say it's a great comedy to watch.
  It's the story about a guy who enters in a new highschool, and is "invited" to be part of students commite of this highschool,which started to accept male students.However,What makes this anime fun is overwhelming sexual jokes or sexual inuendos, without exagerating so much.The animation is from 2010,and if you loved like i did, maybe you should check it's manga from where the animation's plot is from.

To Love Ru Darkness: New chapter brings forgotten characters back

  It seens that a new candidate to Momo's harem plan,who i thought was forgotten,has appeared in this new chapter that was released this month.I love To Love Ru Darkness not only because of its fan service,but the author tries to come up with a different ecchi situation in every chapter,and i really cheer to  Kujou Rin is included in the harem plan.

  Episode 44 and 43 covers Kouga and friends fighting Pisces Amour,who is perhaps the most powerful gold saint after Sagitarius Seiya,probably because of his dark cosmos.Both episodes were great.

To Love Ru Trouble Darkness OVA 4: Mea's master acts

  On this fouth episode,we finally see some real plot advance,as it shows Yami and Mikan together and a fearsome and crazy Momo (picture above) towards the assassin,who wanted revenge on Yami because of a defeat in the past,which destroyed her reputation.I liked action,not so much fan service,but i guess it's ok,they need to advance the story sometimes.I expect more ecchi in the next episodes.

To Love Ru Trouble Darkness OVA 3: kotegawa and Rito

  In this third amazing episode, Mea go meets Rito in his ecchi dreams,showing us that she is kind of a pervert and Kotegawa almost kissing Rito, thanks to Momo's interference on events.There is also a lot of fan service,more than the last two episodes.Click read more to see more screenshots.

To Love Ru Trouble Darkness OVA 2: Momo and Yami service

  I know To Love Ru Trouble Darkness is on the 11th episode,but i can't rush straight to number eleven.On this episode,some Momo and Rito scenes (such as above,and more screens below) and Yami thinking her about her past.Lots of fan service delivered.I don't know if you already do it,but if you can, read the manga where this animation comes from,"To Love Ru Darkness",do it,because it's great as those animations,and more uncensored.

Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai Next: review and first episode

   Last weekend was the release of the first episode of Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai next,the continuation of the first season ofthe light novel Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai.I've watched the first episode,and the animation continues what characterized it on the first season: it's not bad,has it's funny moments,a little of fan service,but there's nothing that it makes very good,or exceptional.Average to good,if you like animes based light novels,you should watch this one,and i will be following this one as well.Click here to download
