Saint Seiya's Kurumada to Launch Manga With All His Heroes

The January issue of Akita Shoten's Champion RED magazine is announcing on Tuesday that Masami Kurumada is launching a new series that will feature "all of Kurumada's heroes." A preview for the tentatively titled Kurumada Suikoden manga will appear in the next Champion RED issue on December 19.
The manga is part of the magazine's 40th anniversary celebration of Kurumada's manga career. The same upcoming issue will also have a special interview with Kurumada, special chapters of Kurumada and Shiori Teshirogi's Saint Seiya: The Lost Canvas - Meiō Shinwa manga and Kurumada and Megumu Okada's Saint Seiya Episode.G manga, the latest chapter of Kurumada and Chimaki Kuori's Saint Seiya: Saintia Shō manga, and double-sided poster of "Kurumada All-Stars" (drawn by Teshirogi, Kuori, Okada, and Yun Kouga).

Infinite Stratos: first episode and lots of girls


 After seeing some releases, I decided to pick Infinite Stratos to watch.Unfortunately, this anime is already in season 02 and is currently airing,so i'm way behind until season 2.Therefore,I decided to post from the beginning of episode 1 in season 1.This a very good animation, a mix a of Harem,romance, and Mecha Action,but if you are looking something with a deep story,you probably and to look elsewhere.

Internet Piracy Boosts Anime Sales, Study Concludes

A prestigious economics think-tank of the Japanese Government has published a study which concludes that online piracy of anime shows actually increases sales of DVDs. The conclusion stands in sharp contrast with the entertainment industry’s claims that ‘illicit’ downloading is leading to billions of dollars in losses worldwide. It also puts the increased anti-piracy efforts of the anime industry in doubt.

GTO: The Early Years Manga Gets Sequel With New Artist

The December issue of Akita Shoten's Monthly Shōnen Champion magazine is announcing on Wednesday that artist Shinsuke Takahashi (Duel Masters Rev.) will serialize a sequel manga to Tohru Fujisawa's GTO: The Early Years (Shonan Junai-gumi). The "true sequel," titled Shonan Seven, will be written by Fujisawa and premiere in the February issue on January 6.

Sentai Filmworks Adds Gainax's Nadia - The Secret of Blue Water TV



North American anime licensing company Sentai Filmworks announced on Saturday that it acquired Gainax's science-fiction adventure anime Nadia - The Secret of Blue Water. The 39-episode 1990-1991 series will be "available soon through select digital outlets with a home video release on bilingual DVD & BD to follow."
